The Prime Minister of Georgia confirmed that he had received an official invitation to participate in the upcoming European Political Summit, scheduled to take place in Albania on May 16.
"Official meetings are rarely held in this type of format, but there are always opportunities for conversations with leaders in the corridors. We will make the most of those opportunities. We`re ready to speak with anyone who`s open to a fair, healthy, and non-Soviet approach. Unfortunately, today the EU - not the USSR - is showing a Soviet-style attitude through some of its leaders.
My European approach is to talk to everyone. But the silence we are seeing - again, not from everyone, but from certain leaders - suggests a Soviet-style mentality", - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
