Former Chairperson of the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee in the Parliament of Georgia, Sopo Kiladze, has been elected Chair of the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child [CRC].

"I am honoured to have been elected as Chairperson of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child. I sincerely thank all my colleagues for their confidence. During this challenging period, I will do my utmost to serve the interests of children both in Georgia and around the world.
