The Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed her appreciation for the Georgian Parliament’s forthcoming stance on the MEGOBARI Act, highlighting the importance of its position.

“I welcome the Georgian Parliament’s reaction to the MEGOBARI Act. Naturally, the Parliament’s position on this matter will be crucial and cannot be overlooked. Since the US Congress adopted this act, it is, to some extent, foundational for shaping the future policies of the US regarding Georgia.

Therefore, we must pay close attention to it. The formulation of a clear stance and official statement by the Parliament is, of course, highly welcome”, - said Maka Botchorishvili.

Parliament of Georgia is expected to adopt an official declaration concerning the MEGOBARI Act.
