Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze, at the invitation of the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, will participate in the European Political Council [EPC] Summit, which will be held on May 16 in Tirana, Albania.

At the 6th EPC conference, leaders of about 50 countries and heads of European and international institutions will discuss European security, economic and energy sustainability, illegal migration.

The summit will also focus on issues related to the rapid development of innovations, digital infrastructure, and technologies. The event will open with a plenary session.

Thematic discussions in a roundtable format are also planned. Irakli Kobakhidze will participate in the discussion, the main topic of which is European security and democratic sustainability.

The Prime Minister of Georgia traveled to the European Political Union Summit with a delegation, which includes Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili and Chief of Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
