Chairman of the Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee, Givi Mikanadze, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Georgia, Ashot Smbatyan.

The meeting focused on prospects for further strengthening bilateral relations, with particular emphasis on enhancing inter-parliamentary cooperation - especially in the fields of education, science, and youth.

"I informed the Ambassador that by the end of this year, we are planning to invite the Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport of National Assembly of Armenia to Georgia for a joint session. The goal is to oversee the implementation of bilateral agreements and to identify concrete steps for advancing future cooperation. Ambassador welcomed the initiative and expressed full readiness to support the process", - said Givi Mikanadze.
