Today, the Head of the Anti-Corruption Bureau held an informational meeting with ambassadors, other representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Georgia, and international organizations.

The meeting focused on the Law of Georgia on the “Foreign Agents Registration Act”, which will enter into force on 31 May of this year. Participants received comprehensive information regarding the purpose and scope of the law, as well as the procedure and format for registration on the designated platform. The Bureau also shared details about the consultation it offers to any interested organization or individual.

The second part of the meeting was held in a Q&A format, allowing guests to obtain detailed responses to questions of interest concerning the law.

The meeting emphasized that the law provides an opportunity to elevate Georgia’s cooperation with international organizations to a new level - one that is based on the sustainable alignment of national interests and democratic values.

The Bureau plans to continue organizing similar meetings with interested stakeholders and will maintain active cooperation with both local and international partners.
