UFC champion Merab Dvalishvili has returned to his homeland following his victory over Sean O’Malley.

“I am thrilled to have defended my belt. Returning home always brings me joy. I mentioned Georgia to Donald Trump and reaffirmed my country’s and my respect for him. He told me he appreciated the fight and liked what I did”, - said Dvalishvili in the airport.

The Georgian fighter plans to stay in Georgia for a week before travelling to Azerbaijan to attend a UFC event.
