Giorgi Jincharadze, Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, paid an official visit to Abkhazia Public School N3 named after Vova Vekua. Accompanied by the Minister of Education and Culture of Abkhazia, he met with the schools principal and teachers.

During the meeting, the Chairman expressed profound appreciation to the educators for their dedication to future generations` academic and moral development and for their steadfast commitment to the teaching profession. He underscored that the enhancement of the educational system remains one of the principal strategic priorities of the Government of Abkhazia.

During the meeting, they discussed the school`s needs and infrastructural challenges, including issues related to teachers` professional development. The teachers shared their views and suggestions, to which Giorgi Jincharadze responded with a promise of support and concrete action.

He emphasized the importance of providing opportunities for students in Abkhazia`s public schools to learn the Abkhaz language, noting that this issue holds national significance and represents a key component in the Georgian-Abkhaz reconciliation process.

Jincharadze reaffirmed that the Government of Abkhazia will continue its active efforts to strengthen the education sector and that such meetings will continue in the future.
