Slovakia remains firm supporter of Georgia’s European integration – Davitashvili

Slovakia was a steadfast supporter of Georgia in the process of European integration. Such a statement the First Vice Prime Minister/Minister of Economy made at the Georgian-Slovak Friendship Evening held in Bratislava.

“Intensive economic cooperation between Georgia and Slovakia began last year and continues to grow. We see that investment activity from Slovakia to Georgia is increasing day by day. Many projects are at various stages of discussion and implementation with Slovakia, focusing on economic cooperation between the two countries”, - said Levan Davitashvili.

The event was also attended by Juraj Blanár, Slovakia’s Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Shalva Gogoladze, Georgia’s Minister of Sports, Konstantine Kvachakidze, Georgia’s Ambassador to Slovakia, Tariel Khechikashvili, the founder of Iberia Business Group, and Nodar Giorgadze, founder of Jino Holding.

The Georgian-Slovak Friendship Evening aimed to strengthen economic relations between the two countries. Slovak investors planning to make multimillion-dollar investments in Georgia across various sectors.
