Due to planned inspection and testing works on the Heroes’ Square overpass, traffic will be restricted at night

Tbilisi City Hall has announced planned research and testing works on the overpass at Heroes Square, during which traffic restrictions will be in place from June 19 to July 7.

“Scheduled inspection and testing work will be conducted on the overpass located at Heroes Square. This process involves a technical evaluation of the overpass structural elements, including an assessment of their durability and functionality.

The work will begin on June 19 and be completed on July 7. Due to the planned activities, vehicular traffic on the overpass at Heroes Square will be fully restricted on an every-other-night basis during this period, between 2:00 AM and 6:00 AM. Such preventive measures help to mitigate potential hazards”, - said Kakha Kaladze, the Mayor of Tbilisi.
