Shota Getsadze, Ambassador of Georgia to the Swiss Confederation, has officially presented his credentials to the President of Switzerland, Karin Keller-Sutter.

Following the credential ceremony held at the Federal Palace, Ambassador and President held a meeting to discuss bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two countries.

Getsadze expressed his gratitude for Switzerland’s support of Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, acknowledged Switzerland’s role as a mediator in regional matters.

The discussion also covered Georgia’s strategic location and geopolitical significance, key economic projects underway in the country, etc.
