It is clear that there are people who stubbornly fight against Georgian statehood and the current government because they lost in the elections and couldn’t bring their agents to power. Such a statement made today the Mayor of Tbilisi, while commenting debates held in the European Parliament concerning Georgia.
“Georgia continues to develop and move forward on the path of European integration, but there are obstructive moments, specifically statements we hear and actions that are based solely on lies and blackmail.
However, there are also people who see what we are dealing with - people who speak the truth, about how elections in the country were held in a free environment, where every political party had the opportunity to conduct campaigns and participate.
We have freedom of speech and expression. Of course, no one has the right to raise a hand against a police officer, regardless of who they are. Status cannot shield a crime, whether the person is a politician, businessman, or journalist - it makes no difference. We are all equal before the law”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
