Irakli Kobakhidze meets newly appointed Ambassadors to US, Hungary, Georgia`s new permanent representative to CoE

Prime Minister of Georgia met with the country`s newly appointed ambassadors to the United States [Tamar Taliashvili] and Hungary [Nikoloz Laliashvili]` as well as Georgia`s new Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe [Khatia Tsilosani].

Irakli Kobakhidze congratulated the diplomats on their appointments and wished them success.

Tamar Taliashvili has extensive experience in diplomatic service, the public sector. From 2022 until her recent appointment, she served as Georgia`s Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe. She holds the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and has also been a member of the Parliament and the Tbilisi City Assembly.

Nikoloz Laliashvili previously served as Georgia`s Ambassador to Kazakhstan. He has many years of experience in the public sector, including roles at the Ministry of Defence and the National Security Council, and he has also served as a Member of Parliament.

Khatia Tsilosani was a Member of Parliament, has experience working with international organisations. She held senior positions at Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture [including a Deputy Minister].
