Giorgi Gabunia, Chairman of the Culture Committee of Parliament, met with Zhanna Andreasyan, Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia.

The parties discussed further development of cultural relations between the two countries. Attention was focused on the important joint projects carried out over the years by Georgian and Armenian artists.

Emphasis was placed on promoting the involvement of youth in these joint projects, the idea of introducing the unique Georgian polyphony more widely to the Armenian people, and organizing joint concerts of children`s groups.

Officials also discussed the importance of coordinated work between the relevant ministries and parliamentary committees of the countries.
