After the meeting in Ergneti, the Ossetian side announced that the borderization process in Kareli region will be continued in summer. According to the Georgian side, in case of such behavior, they will use all the tools to protest against this action.

The sides discussed the issue of Giorgi Giunashvili. The Georgian side considers him an illegal prisoner and requests unconditional release.

Davit Sanakoev, a representative of the Ossetian side noted that they did not talk about amnesty. But said that Giorgi Giunashvili`s family will be able to visit him.

Kakhaber Kemoklidze, deputy director of the State Analytical Department of State Security Service, claims that the charges against Giunashvili are absurd and invented.

Therefore, Kemoklidze explained that the Georgian side addressed the de facto Tskhinvali representatives with demand of his release.
