Statistics show 68% want NATO membership-NDI

Data gathered from National Democratic Institute show 68% of the interviewees support the membership of NATO, 21% oppose it.

Opponents of joining the North Atlantic Alliance provide three main arguments . 53% state that joining NATO may bring conflict with Russia, 24% states that Georgia will not benefit from this step, and 13% state that Georgia becoming a member of NATO will never happen. NDI has researched and gathered data based on 2500 people in April .
