The UNM responds to the attack on the Auditor General,Lasha Tordia. Deputy Chairman of the National Movement faction, Salome Samadashvili thinks that the government does not want to conduct the investigation, because of the involvement of the former chief prosecutor, Otar Partskhaladze .

"The government has not launched an investigation under Article which specifies particularly strict measures in case of an attack on a representative of the government as it may require the pre-trial detention of Partskhaladze.The government does not want to publicize the footage depicting the crime and also to questioned Partskharladze and all those who witnessed the incident, "- said Salome Chairman.
