Document on granting visa-free regime to Ukraine was signed in Strasbourg

The document on granting visa-free regime to Ukraine has been signed in Strasbourg. The relevant legislative decision was signed by President of the European Parliament Antonio Tiani and the Malta representative of the EU Presidency. Petro Poroshenko attended the ceremony.

The President of Ukraine thanked the EU member states for support and noted that this document returns Ukraine to the European family and finally rejects the Soviet past.

Ukraine Citizens will be able to travel to Europe without visa 20 days after enactment of the document.
