The discussion of several issues from the Public Defender`s report iwas the reason of noisy reaction in the Parliament. The ruling team had questions to the Public Defender only on Rustavi 2 case.

Today, the Public Defender had even more strict staements on the threats of the government`s inerference and the involvement of theMPs in the case. The ruling team has been trying to interpret Strasbour`s decision today.

According to Ucha Nanuashvili, the Public Defender`s Office is studying the issue of granting compensation to Judge Nata Nazedaidze`s family and the conclusion will be published in the nearest future.

The majority did not hide its reaction to the criticism expressed in the multi-page report of the Public Defender today. Some of them urged the human rights` defender to talk about positive tendencies in state structures.

According to the Public Defender, unavailability of information from various agencies remains a serious problem. Last year, nine thousand applicants applied to Nanuashvili"s office. 

After presentation of the Public Defender`s report, the Parliament discussed the initiative of European Georgia on the creation of an investigative commission on the case of Partskhaladze. However, most of them do not share the initiative of the opposition and say that the Prosecutor"s Office needs a reasonable time to conduct the investigation.
