Otar Tsotsoria, brother of the European Court of Human Rights judgw , Nona Tsotsoria says that the search in his house and the launched investigation were related to his sister`s activities. Otar Tsotsoria made this announcement after investigative actions in his apartment in Batumi werecompleted.

"Everything is done against my sister, my hunting gun is registered, one of the fire arms belongs to my grandfather and it is also registered, the rest is unbelievable, idon`t where it came from in my house," - Tsotsoria told journalists.

The employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have already left Tsotsoria`s house, but according to Rustavi 2, Otar Tsotsoria has not been questioned.

We remind you that on the grounds of conducting a search, law enforcers entered the house of brother of Nona Tsotsoria, who is a judge of the European Court of Human Rights on May 18. Family members and politicians believe that the search is related to Nona Tsotsoria`s activity in the European Court.

According to the MIA, a pistol and various types of cartridges were removed from the house. According to the Ministry, expertise will be appointed.

Investigation is in progress under Article 236 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
