Constitutional amendments - Ombudsman will submit his remarks to Venice Commission today

Public Defender will send his remarks regarding constitutional amendments to the Venice Commission today. Ucha Nanuashvili estimates that there are problems concerning the autority of the Ombudsman, Social and Labor Rights, as well as the court system.

In his opinion, the court should be more independent from the state influence. The Public Defender hopes that the Venice Commission will take into consideration his recommendations, so that the Constitutional Commission will have to take it into consideration.
