Public discussion of constitutional amendments will continue in Samtredia today. The parliamentary majority will provide information to the local population.

The ruling team says that during the discussions the comments were made mostly about the so-called bonus system.

Therefore, according to Mamuka Mdinaradze, the rule of distribution of the mandates will be returned to the Constitutional Commission and the Parliament after the discussions.

"When it was not only politicians but the part of the society that showed that they were partially protesting against the bonus system, we have expressed the instant readiness to reconsider this issue after the general public discussion," - Mamuka Mdinaradze said.

European Georgia intends to raise the issue of plebiscite at the public discussions.
The National Movement calls the public discussions a political show.

"The discussions have already received a very unserious character. In the beginning, some people were reciting poems, some were shouting, there were elements of entertainment, and now it"s a complete farce. We should not allow the government to create an illusion that we are really talking to people through these discussions, " -
said Roman Gotsiridze.

At the second stage of discussion of the Constitution, meeting with population will be held in several cities and regions.
