Members of the European Parliament"s Foreign Committee met with representatives of the parliamentary opposition. After the meeting MPs noted that the challenges and problems in Georgia were discussed.

According to them, the discussion mainly focused on the new project of the constitution and the hard social situation in the country.

Elene Khoshtaria, a Member of the European Parliament of Georgia, said that occupation and security challenges were discussed at the meeting. According to her, the constitutional amendments were discussed with members of the European Parliament"s Foreign Committee.

Zaza Bibilashvili, deputy chairman of the political council of the United National Movement, said that the opposition members focused on the fact that constitutional amendments will strengthen informal governance.
