General Discussion on constitutional amendments continues. The ruling team and the parliamentary minority will introduce amendments to Kaspi and Ozurgeti population today.

According to the Parliamentary Majority, the population is actively involved in the process of discussions, which they say is important. The ruling team is convinced that the changes will significantly improve the constitution.

According to them, the Venice Commission has no comments on the president`s authority and their recommendations will be taken into consideration before final project is approved.

"If there is a specific legal point of view from the Venice Commission, as it has been repeatedly stated to the public, we will take into consideration this remark," - Davit Matikashvili said.

Universal public discussion of constitutional amendments will end in Tbilisi on May 29. The recommendations of the Venice Commission will be known in about a month.
