The Prime Minister of Georgia talked about the importance of deepening economic and political relations between the two countries at a conference dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the American Business Council.

According to him, the role of the US in the development of Georgia in the right direction is invaluable. Giorgi Kvirikashvili focused on the initiative One belt - One road regarding the construction of a new silk road.

The Prime Minister also spoke in detail about the government`s four-point reform plan and acceleration of the economic growth as one of the key directions of the four-point plan of reforms.

"Today we are proud of the progress made by different indicators. Despite the problems of territorial integrity, occupation and security, Georgia is trying to portray itself as a country of opportunity. It still needs great support from its strategic partners, but at the same time it is a place that allows American companies to expand across the region. Georgian-American relations should become a basis for regional security, stability, economic development and democratization of this country, "- Giorgi Kvirikashvili said.
