Our obligation is to take care of freedom - the opposition speaks about the importance of Independence Day

Representatives of the opposition were present at the events dedicated to the Independence Day today. According to Davit Bakradze, leader of European Georgia, May 26 is the day when the history of struggle for freedom of Georgia is celebrated.

"The whole story of Georgia is history of struggle for freedom and we are a happy generation that we live in free Georgia. Therefore, our obligation is to take care of freedom. Our commitment is to build a strong, secure country and it will be the greatest appreciation for the contribution that our ancestors have in the struggle for freedom of Georgia for centuries, "Davit Bakradze said.

The leader of the New Rights also focused on the importance of May 26.

"Today we have the right to forget everything and remember only one thing, important stages, starting from 1918 . The mood is unequivocally positive and optimistic, "Mamuka Katsitadze says.
