It is not excluded that Davit Jandieri will refuse to participate in the competition for the position of the Strasbourg Court Judge. Jandieri has questions regarding the composition of the commission which is mainly comprised with the representatives of the ruling team and that it is still unknown why the Commission has extended the term of the competition. The candidates that were added from March 14 to April 14 are not yet known.

The reason for refusing to participate in the composition named by Giorgi Papuashvili was also the composition of the Commission. The former chairman of the Constitutional Court believes that he was blocked by political motives a year ago and the composition of the Commission has not changed in this regard since.

Chairman of the Commission does not respond to the claims of the candidates. Interview with 23 participants will be held tomorrow. Among the candidates are Lado Chanturia, Shota Getsadze, Tamar Alania, Nino Bakakuri, Sopo Japaridze. Part of candidates do not share Papuashvili and Jandier`s statements about possible subjectivity of the composition of the commission.

After the interview, the commission will select 5 participants of the competition with the best points, three out of five will be selected by the government and the list will be sent to Strasbourg.
