Chairman of European Georgia, David Bakradze, noted that the political party will fight to improve the situation in the country. Delegates gathered at the Sports Palace.Davit Bakradze has been nominated for the position of chairperson of European Georgia, Giga Bokeria – for the position of chairperson of the political board, Gigi Ugulava – for the position of secretary general and Elene Khoshtaria as Tbilisi mayoral candidate.

"I am sure that Georgia needs a new force which will be focused on unity and not division, reconciliation and not enmity ... This will be the main driving force of our party: unity, reconciliation, and well-being of the people," - Davit Bakradze said.

He noted that European Georgia will unite people of different political past and different views.

The chairperson of the European Union said that the aim of the party is to finish the Russian occupation and return back Abkhazia and Tskhinvali region.

Davit Bakradze talked about the socio-economic situation in the country and noted that many reforms are necessary to eliminate economic problems.
