"Georgia is no longer a post-country - Prime Minister responded to Russian representatives in Bratislava

Neighbors should not be turned into enemies - within the framework of the Global Security Forum in Bratislava Giorgi Kvirikashvili responded to Russian representatives, criticized Moscow`s rhetoric and spoke about the intervention in Georgia.

"Georgia is no longer a ‘post’ country. I think we need to get rid of these ‘post’ clichés. We are a country which can be easily called an eastern European Country.
Georgia has one of the lowest corruption rates and we are ahead of many European states in this regard. We have one of the best business climates in the world. According to the World Bank, we are in the 16th place in this world. According to Heritage Foundation, our economy is ranked 13th in terms of freedom in the world. Our ratings are improving every year. We have very strong democratic institutions, and the rule of law is stronger every year. We will be closely following our Association Agenda and its Action Plan. So it is absolutely illogical to speak out against Georgia`s European and NATO aspirations as we have more than 70 percent of our population supporting NATO integration and more than 80 percent supporting European integration. We believe that these goals will be achieved through consistent and deliberate labor., - Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili has responded to Russian Duma Education and Science Committee Head Viacheslav Nikonov.

‘Russia supports Georgia’s EU integration? What is Georgia for Russia? This is the main question. What is the map of Georgia? What is the country they are talking about? That is the biggest question. I am sorry that mentioning about the lower pace of economic growth while its stability is undermined by Russian intervention sounds very very sarcastic,’ Kvirikashvili has remarked.
