Lado Chanturia, Sopo Japaridze, Shota Getsadze, Tamar Alania and Irakli Dondoladze - This is the list of the candidates on the position of the judge of the European Court of Human Rights. The special governmental commission has elected them out of 24 candidates

Lado Chanturia, Georgia"s Ambassador to Germany received the highest scores among the candidates.

According to Shota Getsadze, member of the High Council of Justice of Georgia states that the decision is not connected with the government.

" I used to solve the issues and will so;ve in the future only legally, " - said Shota Getsadze.
