Head of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Lithuania visited Georgia on official visit. An official welcome ceremony was  held at General Staff after which a bilateral meeting was held between the Chief of General Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces and the Lithuanian counterpart, Jonas Vytauta Jacques, General Lieutenant. Single statements were also made.

The Lithuanian delegation visited the Joint Center of NATO-Georgia Training and Evaluation and Heroes Square, where they paid homage to Georgian fighters who died for Georgia`s territorial integrity.

General Lieutenant will also visit the National Defense Academy in Gori.

The visit of the Lithuanian delegation to Georgia will be over today.
