Khashuri police has brutally beaten a prisoner - the information is released by Giorgi Zugdadze`s mother. Inga Shonia says that her son was systematically threatened after he was released by the Court of Appeal in 4 months instead of being sentenced to 7 years. Inga Shonia claims that her son was again arrested on false charges and weapons were planted on him.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs also released a statement on the incident. The agency confirms that the detainee has injuries on his face, but states that he himself injured a policeman in his head while he was detained .
