Use of drugs and gambling - 70 people dismissed from the Ministry of Defense

70 employees of Georgia’s Defense Ministry and Armed Forces were dismissed in last two for drugs consumption and gambling. Overall, 88 military servicemen have been diagnosed with drug use in 2016-2017.

As for gambling, the relevant violation protocol has been filled on 26 individuals, one of whom had to leave the armed forces.
The information has been requested by the Defense Ministry.
