Geologists need to be involved in the disaster elimination works in Adjara today

Geologists should get involved in the liquidation works in Adjara from today. Representatives of the relevant structures worked for the whole night in the region to open the closed roads damaged by bad weather.

The five municipalities of Adjara have suffered serious damage as a result of two days of heavy rains. The landslide occured in several places.

In addition, the natural disaster caused the fire and therefore it was neccessary to evacuate one family. There is still strong storm in the sea. The headquarters of Zurab Pataridze continues working in 24 hour regime.
