Nika Gvaramia, the Director General of the broadcasting company Rustavi 2 comments on the suspension of the broadcast of six Georgian channels by the cable operators.

The company "Media Rights Georgia" demands compensation for distributing the signal.

"This is natural, the tax is lower than the market price. Naturally, they should pay. It is their choice. They have suspended broadcasting, it is their choice. I"m sure that this will lead to loss of their market positions,"- Nika Gvaramia said.
