The first training is underway in the framework of the Georgian Defense Preparedness Program. Instructors of the Joint NATO-Georgia Training and Assessment Center together with the United States European Command"s Joint Multinational Readiness Center.will train Georgian militaries

In December 2016, an agreement within Defense Framework was signed between the Ministry of Defense of Georgia and the US Department of Defense for the 2016-2019 period.

One of the main components of the agreement is the implementation of the Georgian Defense Preparedness Program.
