A person wanted by Interpol for the murder committed in Georgia was detained in Austria - local media reports.

According to the law enforcers, 43-year-old man was detained by "Kobra" fighters in the city of Linz.

Law enforcers do not name the detainee, however, the media reports that the case is related to the murder committed in 1999.

The man has been living in Austria for years with a fake identity card. He is being prepared for extradition to Georgia.
