A two-year special operation ended with the arrest of a Georgian criminal gang today. The French police arrested 35 people in Italy and France. 26 of them are Georgians. The main allegations are robbery, extortion and smuggling.

According to " Courier" between the detainees are five criminal authorities. Ilia Kheladze is between them. He left Georgia after being released from prison in 2012.
" Le Figaro" writes that the detainees are accused of robbery of houses and shops. Police found 70 thousand euros in their houses . 200 thousand euros have been seized on their accounts.

A criminal police attaché of Georgia in France was involved in the investigation as well.
