The Committee on Regional Policy and Self-Government supported the draft law on the reserve service in the first reading. The new Minister of Defense presented the new concept.

According to the draft law, reserve service form and content will be changed.

"An active reserve is proposed to include three types , armed forces, territorial and specialists reserves . All three are voluntary. The contract will be signed with these persons and they will be paid, "- said Deputy Minister of Defense Nukri Gelashvili.
