"We have a plan and a specific proposal on legislative amendments to the legislation on how to become more humane and I do not see any resistance here," the Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Gakharia said on the initiative of the President.

Under the President"s initiative, the rule of pardon will change. The amendment mainly deals with two directions, drugs and economic crimes.

According to the Minister, humane drug policy against drug addicts has already been launched.
As Giorgi Gakharia says, he does not know if the president has launched a pre-election campaign.
