Eka Gigauri, Executive Director of the Transparency International - Georgia calls on the Parliament to get interested in the events taking place in the Public Broadcaster.

"We have been asking for an open hearing in the Parliament of Georgia for several months, where MPs and public representatives will ask questions to the Public Broadcaster"s representative, but despite this our request is ignored,"- Eka Gigauri said.

Executive Director of Georgian Charter of Journalistic Ethics Nata Dzvelishvili says that Parliament and Board of Trustees should be interested in this case.

Transparency International - Georgia also invited members of the Board of Trustees of the GPB, however, only Ketevan Mskhiladze arrived at the meeting.

Ketevan Mskhiladze, member of the Board of Trustees of the Georgian Public Broadcasting, disagrees with the audit report.

Lela Gaprindashvili, former member of the Public Broadcasting Board, has received 12 800 GEL after her term expired.

Approximately three months ago, about 50 NGOs had initiated a meeting in the legislative body to discuss the systematic problems existing in the GPB, but they still have not received the answer.
