Court of Appeal begins consideration of Eka Mishveladze"s case

The hearing of Eka Mishveladze"s case starts today at Tbilisi Appeal Court. The case concerns the dismissal of the journalist from the Public Broadcaster.

Eka Mishveladze"s suit was partially satisfied in March and the decree on termination of the employment agreement was annulled. Lawyer of the Public Broadcasting appealed against the decision of the first instance. Young lawyers, who defend the interests of Eka Mishveladze, say that Mishveladze"s dismissal was discriminatory and that the Court of appeal should recognize it.
