A number of media organizations left in protest the meeting which had to be devoted to a discussion of the bill on the Public Broadcaster. According to them, the Chairman of the Parliament was destructive and it seemed obvious that he lobbied the law on the broadcaster.

Kobakhidze himself evaluates the statements of the lawyer of the Rustavi 2 broadcasting company and the director of Kavkasia TV as a political attack and says that they are driven only by revenge.
"This attack has a political explanation, but there is no justification. It is wrong to oppose the idea that the public broadcaster should gain social influence. Today, I accused Nino Jangirashvili ansd Tamta Muradashvili of lying and it was the real reason why they left the hall. Lies are characteristic of this party," - Kobakhidze said.
