Draft law on Public Broadcaster - majority begins to mobilize votes to overcome President"s veto

The ruling team starts mobilizing the votes against the decision of the head of state. The political decision has been adopted on the Law on Broadcasting, the ruling team will approve the law despite the remarks of independent media, president and non-governmental sector.

However, "Georgian Dream" could not convince one part of their teammates at a three-hour meeting to vote for changes in the law on the Public Broadcaster.

Roman Kakulia and the members of the same committee Levan Koberidze, Giorgi Mosidze and Davit Chichinadze refuse to participate in the ballot. Nukri Kantaria joined them today.

The opposition thinks that "Georgian Dream" has made this decision for the oppression of free media and critical media.
