The Prime Minister of Georgia has responded to the statement journalists of the TV Company "Iberia" that they are under pressure in order to restrict the editorial policy. The Prime Minister has mentioned " blackmail” while speaking about the statement of the TV Company "Iberia". Giorgi Kvirikashvili believes that the statement of the channel is blackmailing the government by the businessman.

Later similar statements were made in the legislative body. Levan Gogichaishvili has reminded the TV Company"s representatives that the blackmail was a punishable act.

Nato Chkheidze, the MP from Alliance of Patriots has responded to the colleagues. In the beginning she said that problems of " Omega Group" are not linked to pressure on media. Later she explained that her first interview was not understood correctly.

The President of Georgia is also interested in the developments. Giorgi Margvelashvili has met with the founder of the television and asked her to clarify the situation.
