Merab Kvirikashvili"s trial will be resumed today in Kutaisi City Court. The lawyer of the accused who had a car accident on Kutaisi bypass road two years ago expects that hs client will be acquited by the Court.

Several expert examinations were conducted with different results.

The family of the Papaskiris accused Kvirikashvili of pressure on the investigation.

The wife of rugby player, 26-year-old Giorgi Papaskiri, his wife Nutsa Kalandaria and their friend Ani Chkhaidze were killed in the road accident in 2016.
