Four Georgian citizens detained in Madrid

Four Georgian citizens were detained in Madrid as a result of special operations carried out with Spanish law enforcers.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, organized crime group has robbed houses in Madrid. The loot items and nine firearms have been seized.

"The detainees were charged under Articles 515, 234, 563, and 390 of the Criminal Code of Spain, which implies membership of criminal group, theft, illegal purchase and keeping of weapons and falsification of documents. The committed crime envisages 2 to 5 years of imprisonment, "said Mamuka Chelidze.
