Public Defender"s Office and the Georgian Young Lawyers Association will be involved in the case of Rustavi 2 in Strasbourg

The European Court of Human Rights has satisfied a demand of two organizations out of six. The organizations will have the opportunity to submit their opinions to the Strasbourg Court.

"The view of a neutral observer or objective eye has always been important for us in our case in Georgia and especially in Strasbourg.

It will be very important for us to have two independent organizations - Public Defender as an institution and an important player in the civil sector - GYLA , which will emphasize their position in Strasbourg and will try to help the court to understand certain issues, "said Tamta Muradashvili, a lawyer for broadcasting company Rustavi 2.
