"There are many shortcomings in the investigation. Work of Investigative Commission confirms it," NGOs on the murder of teenagers

Non-governmental organizations speak about the shortcomings in the case of murder on Khorava Street. According to the civil sector, the state failed to ensure the trust of Zaza Saralidze, father of Davit Saralidze and the whole society.


According to the NGO representatives, the temporary Investigative Commission should find out whether high-ranking officials of the Prosecutor"s Office are engaged in covering the crime.

"The Investigative Commission should conduct its activities in the direction to know whether high officials were involved in the work of the Prosecutor"s Office of Georgia in order to hinder to investigate the truth,"- said Eka Gigauri, executive director of Transparency International Georgia said.

According to the representatives of the civil sector, the work of the parliamentary investigative commission also proves that there are many shortcomings in investigation of the murder of teenagers.

"The fact is that there are too many shortcomings in the investigation," said Giorgi Mshvenieradze, chairman of the Georgian Democratic Initiative.
