One-year imprisonment or fine - Gega Gegeshidze to be charged today

The main figure of the confrontation at the Sports Palace o, which took place on January 11 will be officially charged today.

The president of the Wrestling Federation is in the preliminary detention isolator. Police arrested Gega Gegeshidze after four hours of interrogation.

Lawyer Irma Chkadua will defend his interests. As she declares, she is not familiar with the case materials and cannot speak about details at this stage.

The case against Gegeshidze is in progress under Article 126 Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies violence and envisages up to one-year imprisonment.
